— Summit County piano moving —

Up I-80, over the pass.

Summit County is half a different business than the valley — high-altitude homes, ski-town renovations, premium event venues, and a piano-rental market that runs hot from May through October. From our Riverton shop, Park City is about 50 minutes up I-80 over Parley's Summit, Heber is 60 minutes via the same route or down 224, and the eastern towns like Kamas, Oakley, and Coalville run 60–75 minutes.

Travel pricing for Summit County is the same out-of-Salt-Lake-County rate: $150 per round-trip drive hour from our Bluffdale operations point. For a Park City job that adds about $250–300 to the base. For Heber or Kamas, similar. Mountain venues add $200 on top of that for crew + extra equipment when the access is rough — long driveways, snow-covered turnouts, ski-condo elevator drama. We round to the nearest $5 and write everything on the quote.

The Summit County work mix is unusual. About half of what we do here is event rentals: white grands and black grands delivered to Blue Sky Lodge, Park City Country Club, the Loggia and Show Barn at Thanksgiving Point (technically Utah County but on the same I-80 run), and dozens of mountain wedding venues with names that change every season. The other half is residences — Steinways and Bösendorfers in Park City Old Town homes, baby grands placed in Promontory and Glenwild glass walls, and the occasional console going into a Heber farm property.

Snow makes the calendar tricky. Between November and March we add a buffer day to most Summit County bookings in case Parley's Summit closes. We've never had a piano stuck on the pass — we won't roll the truck if conditions are sketchy — but the schedule has to flex. May through October it's a normal hour-up, hour-back run.

From moving to storage at our Herriman facility (about 70 minutes from Park City) to rental deliveries for events to tuning partner referrals — we cover the full piano stack in Summit County.

Tell us the address, the piano, and the date — same-day quote, and we'll flag if the timing has any winter risk before you book.
